Privacy Policy

Effective March 2026

The short version

Anagram Circle collects no personal information. The only data that ever leaves your device is anonymous gameplay timing, used solely to show you how your speed compares to other players.

What we collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information. Specifically:

Anonymous gameplay data

When you complete a Daily puzzle, the time taken per word is submitted anonymously to our server. This data has no identifier attached — we cannot link it to you, your device, or any account. It is used only to calculate aggregate difficulty statistics shown in-app (e.g. "faster than ~60% of today's players").

No other game modes submit any data.

Third-party services

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (session counts, screen views, and basic device information such as OS version and device model). This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. Firebase does not have access to any gameplay content or word data. You can review Google's data practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

No other third-party advertising, tracking, or monetisation SDKs are used.

Children's privacy

Since we collect no personal data from anyone, this naturally includes children. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will update it on this page with a new effective date.
